Editor,
I recently had cause to use the Kitty roundabout around 23:30 hrs last Sunday night. I was stunned to see this roundabout being used as a parking lot with many vehicles parked haphazardly on the active lanes, resulting in motorists not having access to lanes as intended. The ensuing traffic chaos was inevitable.
I am certain that this is not the only time that this has occurred at the roundabout. I am equally certain that police patrols must have previously noticed this wanton abuse of this Roundabout.
Hopefully, the authorities can take immediate steps to repel the actions of those few inconsiderate sea wall revelers so that this public infrastructure facility can be used for its intended purpose and allow us law abiding road users to go along our way unhindered.
A few traffic charges may do the trick.
