A Neighbourhood policewoman attached to the Grove Police Station, East Bank Demerara, her son and two other persons attached to a Friendship, East Bank Demerara distribution company, were yesterday arrested for allegedly stealing and selling over one million dollars of pampers and sausages from the company.
This publication has been reliably informed that the woman, her son and two individuals – who are said to be security guards attached to the company – have since admitted to stealing and selling the items, and police are in the process of completing their investigations. Charges are to likely to be instituted soon.
