Ram & McRae, one of the leading provider of professional services in audit, tax, accounting and consulting services, has named Chief Executive Officer, Rakesh Latchana as its new Managing Partner.
Former Managing Partner and founder of the firm, Christopher Ram will now become chairman of the professional services firm’s group of entities.
“Latchana joined the firm in 1999 and was admitted to the partnership on January 1, 2006. He is a member of the Technical Committees of the Institutes of Chartered Accountants of Guyana and the Caribbean and member of SME Implementation Group the International Accounting Standards Board,” according to a release.
“Latchana is expected to continue the firm’s tradition of leadership, excellence and innovation in service delivery while shaping the direction of the firm as it embraces its role as a pre-eminent professional services firm in the new oil and gas economy.”
The firm has also named Lisa Moonilall as Audit Manager.
“Ms. Moonilall joined the firm in 2011 and is a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.”
At a reception to announce the changes, the firm also honoured staff members with 10 and 20 years of service.”
