Overseas based Guyanese Franco Crawford at left and Roberts at right along with club members display the uniforms presented by Crawford.
Freely give freely receive, that is one of the mottos of overseas based former National Cyclist Franco Crawford as he continues to be compassionate.
Although Crawford resides overseas, he is still a member of the Flying Ace Cycle Club (FACC) of Berbice and continues to donate to the betterment of the club, its members and other members of the community.
His latest round of generosity saw him donating cycling uniforms along with two suitcases of goodies to members of the FACC.
Crawford restated his commitment to assisting those back home who are not so fortunate to make the best of their ability and reach their true potential.
He once again reminisced on his days when he could not afford to equip himself for the sport and had to struggle.
Crawford on his short stint home has also donated three bikes to members of the club including one each to the oldest member of the club, 67 Years Daniel Rigby, Club coach and founder Randolph Roberts and 14 year old Jeremiah Joseph.
He has also sponsored a cycle race for his 50 birthday and gave numerous donations to other organisations and charity.
Roberts thanked Crawford for his generosity and wished him all the success in the future. (Samuel Whyte).
