Teams are continuing to confirm their participation in the Caribbean Schoolboys and Junior Boxing tournament fixed for the National Gymnasium from August 17th to 19th.
President of the Guyana Boxing Association (GBA), Steve Ninvalle, informed that Jamaica heads the latest on the list of country’s confirming their participation in the leading Caribbean junior boxing tournament.
Ninvalle informed that Jamaica will be sending four boxers, three male and one female to these games. Grenada has indicated they will also send four, while Trinidad and Tobago is the largest contingent to date with 12.
St. Lucia and Cayman Islands are the other countries who have also confirmed their participation so far.
Word is still being awaited from Antigua, Barbados, US Virgin Islands, Bahamas and Suriname on their participation.
