The 360 Cricket Academy of Australia and Barbados’ Combermere School will battle each other tomorrow at the Kensington Oval after winning their semi finals in the 32nd Annual Sir Garfield Sobers International Schools Cricket tournament in Barbados Friday.
Two of the three Guyanese schools closed off their campaign with victories, while Queen’s College lost their 19th place play off to Dominica Schools.
POSITION 11 – At James Bryan: Eletra Institute (Guyana) beat Presentation College (T&T) by 6 wickets.
Presentation College 98 all out in 25.2 overs (Brandon Ali 45, Sanjay Jawahir 18, Quentin Sampson 5-23, Alphius Bookie 4-26) .
Eletra 99-4 in 25 overs (Alphius Bookie 29 not out, Matthew Cheong 29, Qadir Mohammed 2-27).
POSITION 15 – At Gall Hill: Nations Inc (Guyana) beat BCL Juniors by 2 wickets.
BCL Juniors 151 all out in 29.2 overs (Shakeem Boyce 48, Shaquana Glasgow 43, Josiah Bailey 16, Shakera Parris 15, Darrius Andrews 4-18, Dambuka Nqgando 4-46, Tathesh Shivrattan 2-31).
Nations Inc 152-8 in 32.2 overs (Dambuka Nqgando 39 not out, Rajendra Singh 21, Darrius Andrews 15, Tuen Hicks 15, Tathesh Shivrattan 13, Josiah Bailey 4-36, Shakeem Boyce 3-44).
POSITION 19 – At Briar Hall: Dominica Schools beat Queen’s College (Guyana) by 5 wickets.
Queens College (Guyana) 172-8 in 37 overs (Brandon Jaikarran 58, Ronaldo McGarrell 32, Vikash Jaikarran 14, Bhedesh Persaud 10, Malakai Xavier 4-22, and Neo Davis 4-37).
