Steve Ninvalle, President of the Guyana Boxing Association (GBA) and an Executive of AIBA has accepted an invitation to for an all expenses paid trip to Moscow from the Russian Boxing Federation (RBF) for him to participate in the International Boxing Day celebrations. The celebrations will be observed in Moscow, Russian Federation from July 20-23.
On the first day there will an official weigh-in of the Boxing show participants, while the official draw for the next season of the World Boxing Super Series (WBSS) will be done.
On the second day the Finals of the WBSS will be held in the Moscow Sports Complex ‘Olypiskiy’ where the main event will be between Russian Cruiserweight Murat Gassiev and Ukrainian Alexander Usyk.
On the final day, in the heart of Moscow on Red Square, major celebrations for International Boxing Day will be held while the countdown Clock will start before the World Boxing Championships 2019 with a unique performance with participation of legendary Boxers and World Pop stars.
Also in the day’s programme is the laying of flowers at the tomb of the unknown Soldiers in the Alexander Garden of the Kremlin in addition to an International Match meeting and Master Classes from leading Russian Coaches.
