The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Elite League Season III kicks off its second leg tonight at the National Track and Field Facility at Leonora with a double header from 19:00hrs.
In the feature match, defending champions, Guyana Defence Force (GDF) will look to begin the second leg of the league on a high when they lock horns with West Side based, Den Amstel FC, at 21:00hrs.
GDF will be looking to improve their performance from the first half after finishing a distant fourth on the points table with a tally of 18, three points off leaders Western Tigers on 21.
In the opening match, second place Fruta Conquerors (20 points) will match skills with East Coast’s Victoria Kings that are currently ranked second in the league with 19 points.
Admission to the venue is $500, children under 12 years and women are free.
