Guyanese Shemaine Campbelle continued to advance her case for Windies recall with a match winning century in a 65-run win against the Leeward Islands as the Windies Women’s 50-over tournament bowled off yesterday in Jamaica.
The 25-year-old Campbelle, who scored the second most runs (152) in the T20 format, stroked a classy 107 that got Guyana to 229-9 from their 50 overs.
A. Edwards had 3-42 for the Leewards who fell for 164 with five overs remaining as spinner Shabika Grimmond bagged 4-27.
