The Ministry of Presidency – Department of Social Cohesion, Culture, Youth and Sport/ National Sports Commission will be conducting its July/August Vacation Learn to Swim Programme from July 9 – August 17, 2018.
Sessions for children ages 6yrs – 10yrs will be at the Colgrain Swimming Pool located at Camp Street Georgetown, while age category 11yrs – 16yrs will be at the National Aquatic Centre located at Lilliendaal, East Coast Demerara.
Registration commences on June 25, and will be on a first come first serve basis.
Registration fee is $1,000.
Interested persons can be registered at the office of the Colgrain Swimming Pool, National Aquatic Centre or at the National Sports Commission located along Homestretch Avenue.
All participants must wear a swim cap.
