Dear Editor,
This beautiful and bountiful country Guyana is peacefully moving along the road to progress and prosperity as expressed by former President Bharat Jagdeo, who seems very Jealous of the gains made over the last three years by the Coalition Government.
He mentioned in a recent newscast that the peace that Guyana now enjoys would be something of the past should there be perceived rigging of the 2020 election.
Bharrat Jagdeo is bent on creating turmoil in this country to seize power. He should take a page out of President David Granger’s book, that while in opposition he never practised or promoted violence. He struggled with his constituency and the Statesman that he is; he kept a constituency that was beaten down for 23 years with PPP corruption, victimization and racial discrimination very peaceful even though hundreds were being killed extra judicially.
Now that peace has returned to this nation, Bharrat Jagdeo remains the formidable threat to National peace and prosperity.
This nation will not be subjected to the whims and fancies of the PPP CABALS. We have experienced enough under this crew and have no reason to return to the claws and clutches of Jagdeo and his colleagues.
Yours respectfully,
RAS Aaron Blackman.
