Correction to Vishnu Persaud’s letter
Dear Editor,
Please publish the following correction to the letter in my name which you so kindly published in your publication of Saturday, June 16, 2018.
In my letter, I have inadvertently said that the incumbent Human Resources Manager HRM) became employed by the Guyana Elections Commission (GECOM) in early 2017. This is incorrect. In fact, the incumbent HRM joined GECOM in early 2016.
It is important that this correction be published to convey that I “held the fort” in managing the GECOM Human Resources Division for approximately six months only i.e from mid-2015 to early 2016 and not 2017 as conveyed in my letter.
