Residents of Belle West, Canal # 2, West Bank Demerara are appealing to the Ministry of Public Infrastructure to consider the rehabilitation of a part of the Main Access Road.
Currently, there is a contract for a part of the main road that will see rehabilitation for about
1400 feet by 14 feet.
However, residents say that current section being repaired stops at the point where homes are located. Beyond that, the road is in a terribly shape.
They are asking that the ministry consider the additional piece as the contractor is already on the ground.
