Kaieteur News apologizes for an article which was carried in the June 12 edition. The article stated that a junior staff attached to Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA) was slapped with house and land fraud charges.
However, CH&PA reported that the defendant, Tiana Gibbons, who appeared before Principal Magistrate Judy Latchman has no ties to CHPA and was never employed, or is in anyway affiliated with this agency.
Kaieteur News sincerely apologizes for the error and for any harm caused.
