People really like to know that dem in de thick of things. One man wake up and decide that he not mekking enough money from he minibus suh he start to complain. Some people come up and one crazy man seh that dem must strike. Everybody seh okay.
Who got friends in de media mek a phone call and de next thing dem boys know is that minibus drivers protesting. De story deh pun TV and in de papers. Next day other minibus drivers do de same thing but dem boys notice that de strike is not during peak hours when nuff people travelling and de bus does mek money. Is always during de slow period.
Dem go wheh Soulja Bai wukking and then dem guh wheh de minibus does park. All this happen and nuff of dem don’t know why dem striking. Some seh is because de gas high and dem want raise de fare. Some seh dem got to pay de man who own de bus and when dem buy gas dem money does cut.
Dem boys seh that anybody who got a minibus know dem got to protest. Dem use to protest because dem got to buy new tyre. Then dem protest when de licence go up. At first was only de driver but de law seh that every bus must have a conductor. That cause another protest.
Dem boys seh is time ExxonMobil start to use minibus because is local content. Right now all of dem travelling in taxi but dem boys notice that is only one taxi service deh pun de list. De minibus operators must protest because that is discrimination.
Already one man feel dem got too much minibus but people still using dem car fuh wuk taxi. And dem boys want to know why minibus don’t wuk in de night.
Talk half and wait fuh de next minibus protest..
