Car runs off Harbour Bridge retractor span onto pontoon
This was the highly unusual situation at the Demerara Harbour Bridge after 6pm yesterday. The car reportedly came off the ramp at the retractor span too fast and slid over the side onto a pontoon, fortunately. No one was reportedly hurt. (Gordon Moseley photo)
