The Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) Senior Female Team left yesterday for Jamaica to compete in the 2018 Women’s Regional T20 and 50-Overs tournaments. The Guyanese will play their first match on Sunday against home team, Jamaica, at Sabina Park, a T20 match-up.
The team previously engaged in a week’s encampment in preparation for this tournament. Over the next couple of weeks Guyana will face Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, Windward and Leeward Islands in both formats.
The GCB in a release said it wishes the team all the best and looks forward to Guyana returning with the titles.
