The National Sports Commission will be sponsoring the annual Swim Meet for Persons with Disabilities attending Special Schools. Competition will be held at the Colgrain Swimming Pool on Friday June 8, 2018 commencing at 09:30hrs.
The Swim meet is organized by Sports Organiser, Wilton Spencer who has scheduled eighteen events for various categories of swimmers.
Age categories include 15 years &Under, 16 years and Over and Open for male and female. Events include freestyle and backstroke for capable individuals. Persons who cannot swim will be competing in Open Aquatic Walk and Flotation events. Persons with Intellectual disabilities, physically challenged and deaf swimmers will be showing off their abilities in their respective events.
The public is invited to attend. Admission is free.
