Constant rainfall which left the Demerara Cricket Club outfield waterlogged forced the postponement of the Trophy Stall, Khan’s Trading, Permaul’s Trading and Back to Eden softball tournament yesterday.
Floodlights, Parika Defenders, Wellman, Albion and Tropical Springs were the teams set to battle. According to organsier Wayne Jones the matches will be re-scheduled so the teams will have a fair chance to prove their worth going into the next round.
Jones said he is expecting more teams to enter the tournament adding that the competition is set to continue on Sunday.
