Dear Editor,
Mae’s tried to set the record straight but issued a crooked statement. If neither student nor teacher said anything to this child about his indigenous dress, how did the word inappropriate surface? Who first uttered this word?
If not a teacher, then it must be the school’s jumbie. In such a case an apology from the school is appropriate since it was the school’s jumbie who spoke.
Come on Mae’s, stop discrimination now!
