Dear Editor,
I read with alarm and dismay sentiments expressed by Audreyanna Thomas on behalf of GuySuCo Staff, signed by Paul Bhim, sent to the Minister of Agriculture and deliberately leaked to Stabroek News quite recently.
This, relative to the discord of the staffers, I wish to state is erroneous and not a representation of the sentiments and belief of the staff but instead, quite to the contrary.
It is well known that staff discord is because of continual management that lacks vision, imagination and which strives only to maintain the plantocracy system.
There was a meeting held on May 22 and not May 17 as was stated. This meeting was called and chaired by Ms. Audreyanna Thomas, a non-executive member of staff with Paul Bhim by her side where she expressed the sentiments stated in the letter which we all now believe was prepared before the meeting.
This letter was obviously sent to the Minister of Agriculture and leaked by her the very same day.
Ms. Thomas has always been known as Guysuco’s Propaganda Machine, used for damage control and to pull wool over the employees’ eyes.
How important she must feel addressing the Executive Management from a position of ‘authority’.
Now that there are persons unlike the others who are obviously here to work and not to be influenced into the norms of GuySuCo, we complain when all of us across the industry know the revelations are true.
Identify the staffers and we will come forward with evidence since enough is enough. GuySuCo is complaining of leaked information and this can only come from the sensibly disgruntled.
Audreyanna Thomas should leave immediately and so too should Paul Bhim. This company will never get better with the likes of them. You both have brought GuySuCo to a new low.
Shame on you Paul Bhim shame on you too, Audreyanna Thomas.
