DEAR EDITOR,
It was heartening to read that the administration is adopting a new approach to the way foreigners are treated and processed when trying to enter Guyana, after deciding that our country may provide some respite from the changing fortunes of theirs.
Guyanese were once regarded as very hospitable and friendly. With the anticipated positive change of our economic fortunes, it would be good to know that our country, within its limits, can offer some hope to those who believe that life in Guyana would be safer and better than in their own homelands.
It is our turn today to show our positive side.
