Dear Editor,
Guyana, officially the Co-operative Republic of Guyana, is a sovereign state and is the fourth-smallest country on mainland South America. On Saturday 26th May, 2018, Guyana will celebrate fifty-two years of Independence.
Our, major challenge is making certain our national sovereignty is protected, even as international commerce increases. This is no small matter. Our sovereignty is the foundation for our freedom.
Guyana is our own, as long as you are a Guyanese, you have every right to defend your country. We are Guyanese and Guyana belongs to us, Defend, Secure, Protect.
The great singer/songwriter Mr. Dave Martins sang not a blade of grass. Happy Independence Guyana.
Yours Co-operatively,
Parmanand Ram.
