On Wednesday night, police ranks on a mobile patrol in Dennis Street, Campbellville, at around 20:00 hrs, observed the suspicious behaviour of two males, each riding a bicycle.
The ranks decided to stop and search them and found an unlicensed .38 pistol with six live rounds.
The suspects, age 32 and 21, of Campbellville and of Thomas Street, Kitty, respectively, have been arrested and are being processed for court, the police said.
