DEAR EDITOR,
With a single medal to its credit, Guyana’s performance was described as ‘fair’.
Each time after the Games, the same sentiments are regurgitated and echoed at the post-Games press conference by officials who have been at the helm for decades.
Now it seems it is recognised that recommendations from the media should be listened to. One recommendation needs to be listened to and heeded.
And the beat goes on until the next Games.
