Plaisance Panthers edged Golden Stars, BV Triumph United trounced Victoria Scorpions, Ann’s Grove took full points via the walk over route, while Buxton United and Buxton Stars battled to a 1-1 draw when play in the GFF/Pele Alumini Frank Watson U15 Intra Association League continued on Saturday last at the Golden Grove Ground.
Simion Ifill put Plaisance into the lead 15 minutes into the match but Golden Stars drew level in the 25th minute through a Tyrese James goal. No more goals materalised during the first half. But on 54 minutes, Plaisance got the winning strike from Jamal Fraser.
BV Triumph United continued their winning ways with a comfortable 3-1 win over Victoria Scorpions, their hero being Tyrice Daniels who blasted in all three goals coming from behind. The Scorpions it was that drew first blood in the 18th minute when Mark Roberts found the back of the nets.
Their celebrations lasted up until the 30th minute when the Dennis show commenced. Dennis was the star act again in the 35th and 49th minute without any response from the Scorpions who appeared to be stung.
The other match on the day, a battle between Buxton United and Buxton Stars petered out to a 1-1 stalemate. Colin Henriques responded for United in the 47th minute and this was after the Stars had taken the lead on 37 minutes through Brandon Sim’s effort.
