The Patron, Management and Members of Guyana’s leading Youth and Sports Organisation, the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club, MS would like to congratulate their four members, Kevin Sinclair, Kevlon Anderson, Junior Sinclair and Keith Simpson, on their selection on the Berbice Under-19 Inter-county Team. The Berbice Team started their quest to win the Hand-in-Hand Three-Day and One-Day Cricket Tournaments on Tuesday last and the four Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club Members are senior players from whom much is expected.
Junior Sinclair, Kevlon Anderson, Kevin Sinclair and Keith Simpson are all outstanding performers with both bat and ball in all forms of Berbice Cricket and deserved their selection based on merit. All of us at the Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club from the top of the ladder to the bottom, worked very hard every day and this is a fitting reward for the sometimes tiring efforts.
The Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club with support of their official cricket sponsors invest heavily in players’ development and would like to acknowledged their contributions. Special thanks to Pepsi, Farfan & Mendes Ltd, King Solomon Logistics, Poonai’s Pharmacy, Bakewell, Metro’s Office Supplies and Gizmos & Gadgets. 2018 has seen a total of 13 RHTYSC, MS Junior players representing Berbice at the Under-15, Under-17, Under-19 and Female levels, while seven of them have gone on to play for Guyana.
Assad Fudadin and Clinton Pestano have also played at the Regional Senior level, while the club is confident that more Guyana players would emerge from the Inter-county Under-19 and Senior Female Tournaments. Kevin Sinclair is the Berbice Captain, while the highly talented Anderson is his Deputy.
“We wish to reassure our members that they have our full support and that as a Club, we would continue to invest in their development on and off the cricket field. We would also honour them in the proper way during our massive 28th Annual Award Ceremony on the 29th April, 2018. They are without doubt heroes and they would be honoured as such, during the ceremony where our $2.5M worth of trophies, medals and special gifts would be shared out,” a release informed.
“The Rose Hall Town Youth & Sports Club, MS would like to also wish the entire Berbice team great success in the Tournament. We have always support Berbice Cricket and in fact sponsored most of the preparation of the Under-19 Team. We also donated six trophies for Berbice Man of the Match Awardee for each Match along with fifteen Berbice Inter-county Caps to the Team. Berbice Cricket is on the move again and we wish the boys success over the next three weeks.”
