The body of a lifeless man who appears to be in his late 30s was yesterday morning discovered in the trench along the Carifesta Avenue road. The man was discovered around 6:00hrs in the morning by persons who were passing by in the area.
According to ‘A’ Division Commander, Leslie James, the cause of the man’s death has not yet been determined, but what appeared to be marks of violence were identified mainly around his eyes.
Further, the body was starting to decompose.
The police are still waiting for identification of the dead man, who was found shirtless, no boots and nothing but a pair of black jeans. He is said to be of African descent and well groomed.
