President of the Guyana Amateur Body Building & Fitness Federation (GABBFF) Coel Marks has indicated that to date, a total of 26 male and female athletes have already signed up to take the stage come tomorrow evening when their Novice Championships are held at the National Cultural Centre from 19:00hrs.
Sponsored by Fitness Express, GABBFF, Chakras Massage Parlour, The Trophy Stall, Ghandi’s General Store and Coel’s Boutique, tomorrow evening show will showcase newcomers to the sport of body building who will be eager to make their mark as new kids on the block.
Marks informed that the federation will be accepting late registration up until tomorrow so as to facilitate late registrants.
The Men’s Physique and Miss Bikini categories would see six male and an equal amount of females flexing against each other for the top prize and bragging rights. The likes of Tariq Dakhil and Xavier Kirton in the Men’s Physique, while in the Bikini contest, two of the ladies are Angeica Barroncas and Indera Moore.
Some of the other athletes who would be on stage tomorrow night are Fabian Ria (Heavyweight),
Odwin Yansen (Light Middleweight) and Pierre Wagner (Welterweight) among others.
Fans would be in for an extra treat with last year’s Overall winner, Nolan Smith teaming up with Eybo Orford as the two Guest Posers.
