Some 60 families are expected to benefit from the housing project which is located in the Union/ Trafalgar area on the West Coast of Berbice, Region Five.
The houses under construction are two-bedroom wooden structures, measuring 20 feet by 16feet, equipped with toilet and bath, as well as a water tank.
The New Hope Community Development Project at Onderneeming also in Region Five was the last village built by FFTP. Forty-three families benefited from the project in November 2016.
Over 3500 housing units have been built for families across Guyana since the organisation’s housing project began.
