Fifteen year-old Wandisha Peters of Lot 205 Patentia, West Bank Demerara, was last seen two weeks ago by her grandmother at home.
The teen was reportedly seen in the yard when her father came to drop off some supplies for her. An hour later, an uncle called the girl’s father, to say that she had left the house with his cell phone.
A report was made at the Wales Police Station soon after. The family and relatives frantically looked around for the girl but could not locate her.
There have been reports that she was recently in the Belfield and Victoria areas, where the teen was said to have gone to meet a friend’s parents. Residents of the area have also claimed to see a girl matching the given description. The distraught father is just asking for her to be returned home safely.
Anyone with information leading to Wandisha Peters’ whereabouts is asked to contact 695-6636 or the nearest police station.
