Dear Editor,
The Guyana Police Force does not have to compromise with public transportation, Mini Bus drivers, over the colored wraps on their vehicles. A road service license, clearly states the rules to those service providers.
Many laws are broken by those public transportation providers, not only wraps, but others, such as heavily tinted, fancy lights, horns, loud type of music, garbage thrown out on the road ways, drivers and conductors way of dressing and the handling of passengers.
One of my problems is that the Guyana Police Force waits until something becomes a monster, and then try to control. Now that changes are taking place in its administration, serve and protect must be upheld.
Parmanand Ram.
