Dear Editor,
Please grant me some space in your letter Colum to express my total disappointment over the lack of respect by the town clerk and councilors. The officers have shown to me, a senior citizen and pensioner, who has fulfilled all of my financial and other obligations to council for the year, much disrespect.
Re ( PUBLIC HEALTH ORDINANCE CHAP 145 ) NOTICE REQUIRING ABATEMENT OF NUISANCE, served on me, David Noel, and my neighbour by the Public Health Department had instructed us to erect separate septic tanks on our respective premises . The notice was dated 9th February 2017.
I have complied with council’s instructions but to date, one year later, my neighbour has not complied with that instruction from the public health department. This is causing me great inconvenience all because of the illegal structure my neighbour has erected.
I have written to all of the relevant officers over this matter and now my last resort is to bring this matter to closure. The town clerk and all of his officers have been written to but none of them had the courtesy to acknowledge my correspondence.
However I, unlike them, am affording them the courtesy by publicly informing the town clerk and his council that I have no other alternative than to take legal action in the court against them ,
David Noel
