Guyana is now de eye pass fuh all foreign companies in this country, whether dem deh in gold, bauxite, timber or oil.
Just check de way all of dem treating de people. Dem boys always remember a saying, “People are not what they say but what they do. So, judge dem not from dem words, but from their actions.”
Two bauxite company, one from China—Bosai– and de odda one from Russia–Rusal. Bosai seh dem guh pay big wages and salary. When dem people open dem envelope, de action was different.
Rusal on de odda hand, talk bout freedom of labour. When de workers report fuh duty, Rusal tell dem how dem can’t join union.
As fuh de gold industry, dem foreigner get a ton of claims wha dem can’t wuk in a lifetime and when one and two locals guh fuh wuk, dem call police fuh beat dem and lock dem up.
Everybody know wha happen wid timber. BaiShan, Wong On, and Jo-On and Si-On get concession galore and promise to adhere to all de rules, regulations and taxes of Guyana.
But dem action wid de containers and boatloads of lumber out of de country tell another story.
De oil; yes, de oil…Dem boys seh, oil is de biggest of dem all. Dem boys see wha Exxon promise in words but when confronted, dem actions speak volume. Dem get dumb all of a sudden when questions brace dem. Look at de chickenfeed dem throw at Guyana.
Dem couldn’t carry that to any odda country in de world and dem boys got de proof. Dem give Ghana $300 million a year fuh train people but dem give Guyana $5 million.
And guess what; dem tekking back de $5 million in dem cost.
That alone tell you dem don’t want train de people of Guyana in de oil and gas industry, dem give money to buy bones fuh de dogs.
Talk half and ask youself, why de politicians allow this to happen?
