The Berbice Volleyball Association (BVA) recently held trials to select their male and female volleyball teams to represent the county in a one day Volleyball competition verses Demerara.
The competition will be held on Saturday 17th March at the Guysuco Apprentice Training Center Hostel.
The female team will come from -Telissa Williams, Fazeena Alpine, Amisha Mohabir, Aaliyah Mohabir, Philana Simpson, Candacy Mentore, Allison Haynes, Keisha Rodrigues, Amanda Mohan and Krystal Paddy.
The male team will be selected from D. Latchman, L. David, A. Moore, J. Jagmohan R. Bobb, S. Ross, S. Fraser M. Hector J. Jhingree, T. Farley, S. Seecharrand, D. Al Ahamad and A. Bowling. Cort is the standby.
Players are asked to report at the hostel by 09:00 hrs on Saturday.
The teams are being coached by BVA President and Technical Director Levi Nedd and Errol Chase. (Samuel Whyte)
