Bartica All Stars continued where they had left off from the previous weekend by thrashing Agatash All Stars 4-1 to win the Champion of Champions football competition which was organised by Addi and Kwesi in association with the Regional Sports Officer of Region #7, Mark Ambrose.
Playing at the Bartica Community Center ground, where the game has made a welcome return after more than a year, McQuain Smith with a double in the 17th and 76th minutes led Bartica All Stars to victory.
Kurt Welcome with a stunning free kick in the 60th minute and Shaquille Hopkinson with a goal of his own in the 85th minute secured the win.
Agatash’ consolation goal was scored by Andrew Simons. And in the third place match, Potaro All Stars edged Rivers View All Stars, 5-4.
