The Rose Hall Town Jammers Basketball Club, based at Rose Hall Town in the Ancient County would be hosting the University of Guyana Trojans Team for a two-game series tomorrow.
A release from the club has stated that the games which would see the hosts Under-23 and senior teams bouncing against the visitors is just the start of many more such match-ups aimed at providing the requisite exposure for the players to develop.
“The reason for inviting basketball clubs to Berbice is based on the recent road to Mecca which played the games on a more competitive level than those that are played in Berbice, so we are trying to upgrade our level in basketball game,” Coach Vibert Garrett noted.
The venue for the matches is the Vryman’s Erven Court, New Amsterdam.
