Thirty-two year-old Ravindra Mohabir of 184 Number 59 Village, the owner of the vehicle – a white Toyota Carina 192, with number plates HB 7773 – told police that at approximately 06:40 hours he had left his home at Number 51 Village as he usually would.
It was while in the vicinity of Number 61 village that he was stopped by a female, described as fair in complexion. She was dressed in black pants and white long sleeve shirt with red and white gloves on her hands.
Mohabir alleged that the woman joined his car and told him she was heading to Number 63 Beach to purchase some fish. Mohabir said he agreed to take her. The man told investigators that when they arrived at the destination, the woman whipped out what appeared to be a gun and ordered him to hand over what he had in his possession.
According to Mohabir, he was scared for his life and subsequently gave the woman $2,000 cash and one BLU cellphone. She then ordered him to exit his car…he complied and ran to safety.
