One of the country’s leading electrical stores, Prem’s Electrical, has thrown their support behind some for the leading softball cricket teams, Regal Masters and Regal All Stars for the upcoming Orlando Cup 2018.
At a simple ceremony on Thursday last at the company’s Alexander street Georgetown location, Darshani Narine on behalf of Prem’s Electrical said that the company is always willing to shed light to anything that will make a positive impact in society especially involving sport and youth.
The company’s assistance will help Regal teams prepare and compete in the tournament scheduled for March 16 to 18 in Orlando, USA.
In 2017, Regal Masters and All Stars swept the tournament and are looking for a repeat.
In accepting the sponsorship, team manager Parmanand Persaud expressed appreciation on behalf of the teams and said that it will help the players to focus solely on playing rather than thinking how to get to Orlando.
The Orlando Cup is a softball tournament that is shared annually with the Florida Cup on a rotation basis. It features male teams with players over 45 years old competing in the Masters’ category and players of any age rubbing shoulders in the All Star category.
