The Region 5 Community in collaboration with Innovation 360 will be staging a one day 10/10 Cricket competition for teams in Berbice. The competition is set for February Sunday at the Cotton Tree Ground, West Coast Berbice.
Six teams have been invited to participate in the competition including Cotton Tree Die Hard, West Berbice Achievers, Universal DVD Port Mourant, D’ Edward Cricket Club, No 48 Cricket Club and Fairfield Cricket Club .
According to a release from the organisers, the Innovation 360 group is delighted to be a part of the initiative. They believe that investment in youths and sports represents investment for the future.
They are urging their communities to come out and support the matches and enjoy the grand festivity. A number of gifts will be distributed to patrons in celebration of the Mashramani activities in Guyana.
Musical entertainment will be in full swing and the atmosphere will be lived up with cheerleaders for the finals and a grand after party.
