Dear Editor,
I have noticed in your newspaper, GECOM has timings for the registration campaign exercise. Out of interest, why would GECOM have listed National Holidays as working days since the advertisement states holidays inclusive, unless it is a mistake of the mill.
If it is so, then, this can be considered bias towards those who enjoy Mashramani and needed to be registered and for the Hindus whose holiday should be respected. What are we trying to say, Mash is not important? Are the Hindu bodies taking note?
GECOM cannot be insensitive to the culture of the country. Please clarify why these holidays will be treated as if it is business as usual status. Was it a mistake, where inclusive was typed instead of exclusive?
Yours Reader,
G.Bovell
