Further consolidation of positions will be foremost in the minds of the players and coaches when competition in the East Bank Football Association (EBFA) leg of the GFF/Pele Alumini Frank Watson U-15 Intra Association League continues this weekend at the Grove Playfield with match day six and seven.
Agricola Red Triangle (9 points) enjoying a one point advantage over Grove Hi Tech and also with a game in hand is set to face Diamond Upsetters (3 points) in Saturday’s second of three matches at 11:00hrs. Grove will play the feature game from 12:30hrs against Diamond United which is lying at the bottom of the 12-team table and still to register a point.
Saturday’s opening match will bring together Friendship All Stars and Timehri Panthers from 09:30hrs, both sides are on 3 points with the latter ahead on goal difference.
On Sunday, four more matches would be contested, Mocha Champs (4 points) will lock horns with Samatta Point/Kaneville (7 points) from 09:30hrs to be followed by Herstelling Raiders (6 points) against Soesdyke Falcons (0 points) at 11:00hrs; Friendship match skills with Kuru Kururu Warriors (3 points) from 12:30hrs with the main attraction between Swan FC (3 points) and Timehri Panthers.
