The Flying Stars Cycle Club are heightening preparations as the date for their annual Forbes Burnham Memorial road races which will pedal off on Sunday February 18 and 25th approaches.
On Sunday, the 18th, the race will begin at 07:00hrs and follow a Berbice course from Corriverton to Main Street, New Amsterdam.
On the 25th, commencing at 07:00hrs the event will head to the mining town of Linden, with the course beginning in Region 10 and finishing at the National Sports Commission office, on Homestretch Avenue. Later that day, there will be a race beginning at 14:00hrs from Georgetown to Belfield and back to the capital city for the finish.
The race is sponsored by the Burnham Foundation and supervised by the Flying Stars Cycling Club. Transportation will
