Ranks of the Customs Anti Narcotic Unit (CANU) on Tuesday evening intercepted a quantity of cocaine.
The cocaine was stashed in a quantity of frozen fish destined for the US.
The CANU ranks were stationed at the Cheddi Jagan International Airport (CJIA) at the time of the bust, CANU said.
Seven persons were arrested.
The shipping company currently being investigated is said to be from the West Bank of Demerara.
