The Queen’s College Sports Committee (QCSC) has organised a cricket competition that will be competed amongst first, second and third form Boys’ and Girls’ teams.
The competition which began last Saturday at the National Park recorded the following result.
Form 1B defeated 1A in an all girls affair. 1 A scored 44 runs in their allotted 10 overs with Radha Ramroop top scoring with 18runs. In reply, 1B made light work of the target by reaching 45 runs for the loss of one wicket in 7 overs. Danatia top scored for 1B with an unbeaten 20 runs.
The competition resumes this Saturday with two matches. The first game begins at 10:00hrs and will be contested between 1B and 1C in a boys’ matchup, while the second game which begins at 12:00pm will be played amongst 1B girls and 1C girls.
At stake are trophies, medals and bragging rights. The competition is organized by QCSC in collaboration with Johnny “Overseas” Barnwell.
