Dear Editor,
I take this special opportunity to congratulate our senior citizens who are receiving national old age pension. What saddened me is that most of those people are medically sick and by some means, the first week of every month they would flock the respective post office to cash their vouchers. The post office facilities are inadequate.
I now appeal to the agency that is responsible to treat our senior citizens with great pride and dignity, to put in place a courteous and breezy environment with washroom facilities and also drinking water, coffee and snacks and for those who cannot make it, special arrangements should be made for home delivery.
I look forward for priority to be given to our senior citizens of our land.
With Best Regards,
Parmanand Ram
