Christmas is supposed to be the season of joy, but many people are finding it to be a period of sadness. In Sophia many people are afraid to sleep at nights because of marauding bandits. Robberies are commonplace, but the police are slow to act.
Community pressure will cause the deployment of more patrols, especially since the police station that governs the area is reporting that its ranks do not have the resources to respond.

The recent execution killing would lead law enforcers to a community where a kingpin operates. He is the person who ordered the recent execution because the victim dared to distribute drugs in his corner of the world. However, a lack of evidence would stall any attempt at an arrest.

Another fraud would be uncovered at a prominent business place.
A clerk would take advantage of lax supervision and would pilfer money. The discovery would shock many, especially since the individual would be seen as an upright worker.
