Windsor Forest Primary, Hague Primary and Meten-Meer-Zorg Primary were among the victorious teams when the Guyana Cricket Board Soctiabank Kiddy cricket competition continued recently.
At Zeeburg ground, Blankenburg were sent packing for 18, batting first versus Windsor Forest. Tasleem Mohamed grabbed 3-5, Eizah Smithhead 2-1 and Briana Singh 2-3. Windsor Forest responded with 21 with out lost. Hemraj Chetram made 18.
Den Amstel Primary batted first and got to 55-9. Ronica Jones made 11; Jailall Budhu claimed 2-1 and Akeela Deptmon 2-2. Hague Primary replied with 56-2 in 8.1 overs. Daniel Singh made 21.
Meten-Meer-Zorg batted first and posted 134-8 in 14 overs. Alex Dazzel struck 43, Christino Subitri 23 and Aktar Azeez 18; Reah Vickram too two wickets. Sarasawat Primary were restricted for 123-6 in reply with Joshua Kishundiay scoring 23.
Uitvlugt Primary took first strike and got to 124-8. Hemchand Balgobin got 12 as Shiva Seenanan and Sash Raymond picked up two wickets each. Met-en-Meer Zorg scored 125-5 in 12.2 overs in reply. Yugesh Satram made an unbeaten 28; Chris Edwards 18 and Michael Payne 11 not out.
At Leonora, Leonora Primary batted first and managed 153-9 off their allotted 14 overs. Aditya Jetto made 31, Sachin Nandan 24 and Sachin Singh 22. Cornelia Ida were limited to 70-9 in reply. Vidya Latchmie claimed 2-1.
At Lusignan Community Centre ground, St. Andrews managed 30-6 in 14 overs, taking first knock. Merdeli Hali made 12; Alex Rodney took two wickets. Enmore Primary replied with 36-2 in 3.2 overs. Rodney made 15 not out.
Victoria Primary were restricted for 39-8, batting first. Jalaal Gouveia made 28. Enmore Primary replied with 40-2 in seven overs. Ryan Marks and Alex Rodney made 18 and 13 respectively.
Annandale Primary were skittled for 13, batting first. Daniel Adams and Tyron Marcus took three wickets each, while Tasha Glasgow two. Clonbrook responded with 17 with out lost. According to the competition rules, Each team shall comprise of 14 players and each match shall be of 14 overs duration. (Zaheer Mohamed)
