The Berbice Volleyball Association (BVA) has been forced to push back two of their remaining activities to later this month. The activities are a beach volleyball competition and a trip to Demerara. The activities were slated for this weekend. This is according to President Levi Nedd. Nedd a former national Captain and present national head coach and GVF Vice President said that the rescheduling of the two activities is due to circumstances beyond the control of the BVA. According to Nedd the year has been satisfactorily so far and the two activities which are among the last on the calendar for the year were scheduled to be completed in early December, but will now be completed by mid-December.
Meanwhile, training sessions for a number of squads including the U-19 male and female teams preparing for the Inter Guiana Games (IGG) next year and other senior and junior male and female teams are continuing in Berbice on a regular basis.
The BVA referees and coach’s workshop courses are still on the cards. (Samuel Whyte)
