caused some forensic examinations of the cards to determine the champion at the culmination of the well attended Farm Supplies Inc Golf Tournament held on Saturday November 26th at the Lusignan Golf Club.
In the end,(Pdt) Haresh Tewari produced a better score (on the last six holes) with a gross score of 82 for a net of 64, thus snatching the top spot from the rapidly improving Deanand ‘Deano’ Bissessar 92/64 who up to the last hole was leading the whole tournament. Third place went to ‘Pastor’ Balgobin Ragnauth 93/68 and Best Gross to Canadian visitor Jaipaul Suknanan with 80.
Farm Supplies CEO, Renger van Dijk, who was on hand to present the trophies, expressed their delight to be able to contribute to golfing in Guyana, and indicated their willingness to continue. In turn, acting President Brian Hackett, on behalf of the Club, warmly received Farm Supplies participation and gratefully noted their contributions not only in sponsoring tournaments but also in donating valuable equipment.
